Is there a WWW site somewhere that collects info about juried shows?

Right now, I have two sources other than what I notice looking in arty magazines, etc.

1.  Artist Trust (www.artisttrust.org) – this is an organization that supports artists.  Among other things, they publish a newsletter (Possibilities) that is a listing of calls for artists, juried shows, residencies, etc.  Artist Trust is somewhat specific to Washington State but I’m sure that other organizations exists that have similar goals.  I’d guess that the fine folks at Artist Trust know of other organizations, and an email to them might net you the name of a similar outfit where you live.

2. I’m on Craig Barber’s mailing list.  Craig is a photographer in the Hudson Valley in New York State, and he regularly forwards notices about show opportunities to a mailing list he maintains (and which is free).  You can find Craig’s contact info at his website at www.craigbarber.com.

Perhaps folks with other leads to good sources of information might post a comment?

I have a list of resources for just this sort of thing at my website here: http://www.dougplummer.com/resources.html

Orville Robertson over at Fotophile sends out listings I’ve never heard of from anyone else. You can find his email address and ask to be added at the magazine’s website: http://www.inliquid.com/Fotophile/47/
