Amusing search terms

Posted in Uncategorized by Paul Butzi on August 25, 2007

Checking the recent search terms that people typed into various search engines that landed them on this blog, my favorites from the most recent crop are:

  • “broom photography”
  • “hamster lump butt” (clearly a spinoff effect from Tracy Helgeson’s influence)
  • “chainsaw blade tangled”
  • “castration artwork”

and my personal favorite from among the most frequent:

  • “most common photograpy[sic] search terms”

there’s a certain sort of self-referential circularity to that last one that I find delightful.

And the winner from this week’s crop:

  • “bigger better stronger faster luddites”

Search engine terms. Always good for five minutes amusement.

Here are some of my favorites for my blog over the months I’ve been checking:

    “photographer surrealist fetus man”
    “Peer Pressured Into Blogging”

The most frequent one seems to be

    “unethical photos”

Hmm… Wonder why so many people are looking that up these days? Perhaps it could be a sign that there are more unethical photos out there than ever before.

So, Paul, “bigger better stronger faster luddites” now shows your blog at the top of the list (so you are now top-of-the-google for BBSFL)

How did a search like that lead to your blog before you enclosed the utterence?

    There’s a certain circularity to this….
