Do I detect signs of a Tamarack Larch (aka Tamarack or American Larch or Larix laricina) in this shot? If not for the “landscape light” this could be my front yard a while back.

The needles littering the Hosta leaves are from a Coast Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. menziesii).

As you probably know, the larch is a deciduous coniferous tree. The one in my front yard has been decorating everything this fall … as usual. But, I guess needles look pretty much the same once they hit the ground. Thanks.
